Musical Director & Musical Supervisor
Steve Hill
Steve has been a Musical Director and Musical Supervisor for over 30 years, and has worked in both the West End, on tour and overseas. His career has included everything from Rodgers & Hammerstein through to Ray Charles, and it's this incredible versatility that he's become so well known for.
Originally studying as a jazz pianist, Cameron Mackintosh offered him his first Musical Director role in 1995 on the debut UK Tour of Five Guys Named Moe, and it was a job that changed the whole path of his career.
Along with being an orchestral and vocal arranger, Steve is now also an Associate Tutor in Musical Theatre at universities and colleges around the UK, so continues to teach and encourage the next generation of performers.
